As of Sunday night, an ice storm from the polar vortex caused more than 1,500 flights to be delayed or canceled. Fueled by a surge of moist Gulf air and Arctic cold, Blair is set to bring record-breaking snowfall, ice and severe weather to 15 states. Forecasters are calling for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes in the South, which may cause more power outages.
