The number of 401(k) millionaires is on the rise, driven by higher worker contributions and the recent strength of the stock market. Not only are more savers reaching the "401(k) millionaire" milestone, but millennials—traditionally seen as lagging behind older generations in retirement savings—are finally joining the ranks. The number of 401(k) millionaires rose by 9.5% in the third quarter of 2024, growing from 497,000 to 544,000 individuals with seven-figure retirement savings.

A study by Resume Genius has found that the Gen Z population is increasingly leaning toward blue-collar jobs as quick-fix solutions to their financial woes.
