Musk's PAC admits to picking $1M winners

The director of Elon Musk's America PAC testified Monday that he selected the winners of a $1 million daily giveaway despite claim that they would be selected "randomly." America PAC director Chris Young said he picked the winners from a pool of people who appeared in videos after PAC workers met them outside campaign events for former President Donald Trump and reviewed their social media accounts. But Common Pleas Court Judge Angelo Foglietta denied a bid to stop the swing-state giveaway program one day before the presidential election.

NATO keeps a nervous eye on US elections

NATO will stay united no matter who wins the US election, secretary general Mark Rutte said in Berlin on Monday, as Washington's allies nervously await the outcome of the vote. Rutte said he had "no doubt" that whoever wins the election would continue to support NATO because it is "in the interest of the United States". Western allies fear turbulent times ahead for the defense alliance formed at the start of the Cold War if Trump wins Tuesday's knife-edge election. NATO took a hit under Trump's presidency as he berated allies for insufficient spending.
