Biden seeks major Supreme Court reforms

President Joe Biden unveiled his plan to reform the Supreme Court, including changing a provision in the U.S. Constitution involving limiting the lifelong tenure of justices. Calling the proposed constitutional amendment the "No One Is Above the Law Amendment," it answers to an earlier ruling by the Supreme Court in the case of immunity for former president Donald Trump. Biden also wants the court to uphold an ethics code following questionable conduct involving justices after Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, who were embroiled in scandals.

FDA approves colon cancer detection test

The FDA approved a blood test that could effectively screen for colon cancer on Monday. The FDA approved Shield, the premier blood test of Guardant Health. The blood test is not meant to replace a colonoscopy to check for colorectal cancer, but it may increase the number of screenings and improve the chances of catching the illness in the early stages. With the FDA's approval, it is very likely that private insurance companies and Medicare will cover the cost of the Shield blood test.

NON-EVASIVE TEST DETECTS 83% OF COLON CANCER CASES
