Google to rely on AI for answers to searches

Google on Tuesday said it would introduce AI-generated answers to online queries made by users in the US, in one of the biggest updates to its search engine in 25 years. The search engine's AI answers, generated by Google's Gemini AI technology, offer a paragraph or two of explanation with links to the sources that supplied the information. The change seems to be an answer to growing pressure from AI-powered search engines like Perplexity and the repeated rumors that OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is building its own AI search tool.

Scientists used tree-ring data to estimate global temperatures between the first century AD and 1850, before the advent of modern instruments.

The equity offering of the company was launched initially on March 28, and when the meme trade roared back to life with the resurfacing of "Roaring Kitty," it ushered in great news for the theater chain, which eventually led to completion of the equity offering.
