Cameron pleads Trump, GOP for Ukraine aid

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron pleaded Tuesday for US Republicans to approve billions of dollars in military support for Ukraine as he made his case directly to party leader Donald Trump. The former prime minister had dinner Monday with Trump at his Florida estate before heading to Washington the next day to appear alongside US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in an effort to convince Republicans to move ahead on Biden's request for some $60 billion in Ukraine aid.

Shooter's parents sentenced to 10-15 years

The parents of a teenager who carried out a deadly school shooting in Michigan were sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison on Tuesday in an unprecedented case. Jennifer and James Crumbley, who bought their son the gun as an early Christmas present, are the first parents of a school shooter to be convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the US for the actions of their child. Their son Ethan, 17, is serving a life sentence for the Nov. 30, 2021 shooting which left four students dead.

GM's Cruise ready to relaunch robotaxis

General Motors subsidiary Cruise on Tuesday said it plans to get its self-driving cars back on the road without human drivers after suspending robotaxi service late last year due to safety concerns. Vehicles driven by humans are out gathering mapping data in the Arizona city of Phoenix, which has been amenable to testing of autonomous cars deployed by Cruise and Google's Waymo.
