US warns China against lethal aid to Russia

China has not moved toward providing lethal aid to Russia in its invasion of Ukraine and the U.S. has made clear behind closed doors that such a move would have serious consequences, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday. The U.S. and NATO allies have been scrambling to dissuade China from such a move, making public comments on their belief that China is considering providing lethal equipment to Russia.

Violence threatens Israeli-Palestinian talks

Israeli and Palestinian representatives met in Jordan on Sunday for "political-security" talks aimed at restoring calm after violence that included the deadliest Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank in years. However, as the talks were under way, two Israelis and one Palestinian were killed in Sunday attacks. The killings came just days after Israeli forces launched their deadliest West Bank raid in nearly 20 years.

SpaceX's Endeavor set for Monday launch

Elon Musk's rocket company SpaceX was set early Monday to launch the International Space Station's next long-duration team into orbit, with an astronaut from the United Arab Emirates and a Russian cosmonaut joining two NASA crewmates for the flight. The SpaceX launch vehicle, consisting of a Falcon 9 rocket topped with an autonomously operated Crew Dragon capsule called Endeavour, was set for liftoff at 1:45 a.m. EST from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
