Boeing, Dell, Zoom are latest companies to implement layoffs Dell, the landmark computer manufacturing company, will be cutting 6,650 employees, or 5% of its global workforce, according to an SEC filing. Also on Tuesday, Zoom announced that it would be laying off 1,300 employees, or 15% of its workforce.The moves are the latest example of tech companies making cuts to maneuver their way through an uncertain economic climate.
