Biden's classified docs as VP discovered

Classified documents from Joe Biden's vice-presidential days were discovered by the president's personal attorneys at a Washington think tank, a White House lawyer said Monday. Nearly 10 documents were found at Biden's office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Attorney General Merrick Garland had asked the U.S. attorney in Chicago to review the documents, which were found by Biden's attorney on Nov. 2, just days before the midterm elections.

Georgia grand jury wraps up Trump probe

The Georgia special grand jury investigating whether former President Donald Trump and his allies unlawfully sought to interfere in the state's 2020 presidential election results issued its final report on Monday, but it remained unclear whether criminal charges will follow. In an order, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney dissolved the grand jury now that its work is complete and set a Jan. 24 hearing.

NFL player Hamlin released from hospital

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been released from a Cincinnati hospital one week after suffering a cardiac arrest during an NFL game. Hamlin, 24, has returned to his home in Buffalo, N.Y., doctors said on Monday. Hamlin spent the week at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center recovering from the frightening incident while receiving heartfelt get-well wishes from teammates, family and fans across the nation.
