Who is attacking US power grid and why?

Four energy substations were vandalized in Washington State on Christmas Day, affecting thousands of customers across the state in the third attack on power grids this month. The Pierce County Sheriff's Department said four substations were attacked within hours of each other Sunday. Two Duke Energy substations were attacked with firearms in North Carolina, followed by a similar act in South Carolina.

Christmas megastorm's death toll hits 50

At least 50 people are dead as of Tuesday after a historically severe winter storm hit Buffalo and the surrounding areas. The Buffalo area was blasted with more than 50 inches of snow over in a 48-hour period, leaving some residents with no power, no heat, and stranded in cars in below-freezing temperatures with wind chill. Rescue teams continue to search for people who may be stranded in their homes and vehicles.

Celebs among 400M Twitter users hacked

A hacker has reportedly stolen and sold the personal information of nearly 400 million Twitter users on the dark web, including the data of prominent figures like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, "Shark Tank" co-host Kevin O'Leary, and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. The hacker also lists Google CEO Sundar Pichai, singer Charlie Puth, SpaceX, and the U.S. Department of the Interior among its targets.
