Wintry weather hits holiday travel weekend

The Thanksgiving holiday was back to at least one pre-pandemic norm -- travel trouble. As of late Sunday, more than 1,300 flights into or out of U.S. airports were delayed due to severe weather, including rain, heavy winds, and snow, which swept through major cities. Approximately 55 million people were expected to travel over the Thanksgiving weekend, a dramatic increase from the previous two years. However, inclement weather in the Midwest and Southeast was to blame for most delays.

Musk warns Apple, Google of rival phone

Twitter CEO Elon Musk dropped a thinly veiled threat against iPhone maker Apple and Google's Android in the wake of the ongoing exodus of advertisers leaving the social media platform. Musk said he will create an "alternative" smartphone to compete with Apple and Android devices after finding out that both of their app stores are assessing Twitter. Musk warned the digital storefronts against dropping Twitter.

Trump defends his dinner with Ye, Fuentes

Former president Donald Trump has faced a firestorm of criticism since having dining with disgraced musical artist Kanye West and white supremacist Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. Trump has stated that he did not know Fuentes, who promotes white supremacy on his podcast, and was unaware that he would be present at the dinner. West, now known only as Ye, reportedly asked Trump to be his running mate in 2024.
