Inflation won't stop shoppers from digging deep for holidays
Inflation won't stop American consumers from opening their wallets to the nation's retailers this year on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That's according to a new Numerator survey, which finds that 78% of Americans plan to stick to the old tradition of shopping on Black Friday, followed by Cyber Monday (50%), Saturday (43%), Thanksgiving Day (25%), and Sunday (24%).

Musk poll supports general amnesty for suspended users
A landslide of Twitter users responding to an informal poll by new CEO Elon Musk voted in favor of a general amnesty for suspended accounts on the platform. Of 3.16 million respondents to Musk's tweeted poll question, 72.4% said Twitter should allow suspended accounts back on Twitter as long as they have not broken laws or engaged in "egregious spam," Musk posted.

Video shows Chinese police beating iPhone factory workers
A newly released livestream video shows Chinese police beating Foxconn factory workers protesting at a manufacturing facility in Zhengzhou, the world's largest Apple iPhone manufacturer. Foxconn, which manufactures smartphones and other electronics, has been under strict COVID-19 lockdowns in recent weeks, when workers lived at the factories and had no outside contact.
