Adidas pays steep price for severing ties with Kanye West Adidas immediately terminated its partnership with Kanye West, the sporting goods maker said on Tuesday, reacting to a rash of offensive behavior from the American rapper and fasion designer. Ending the partnership and the production of Yeezy branded products, as well as stopping all payments to Ye and his companies, will "have a short-term negative impact" of up to 250 million euros ($248.90 million US) on Adidas' net income this year. Earthquake has San Fran Bay area on alert
A 5.1 magnitude earthquake hit Northern California near San Jose early Tuesday. It was the region's largest since a 6.0-magnitude quake hit the Napa Valley area in 2014. There was no reported major damage or serious emergency calls. The quake occurred at 11:42 a.m. local time and was centered 12 miles east of San Jose. It caused mild rattling to surrounding areas.
