Experts see less-than-sunny COVID summer

COVID-19 infections are on the rise again as the more infectious Omicron subvariants spread across the U.S., causing concern for what may happen during the upcoming summer season. While most experts don’t expect a full-blown surge during the months of July and August due to the warmer weather and people spending more time outdoors, they do warn that the unpredictable nature of COVID variants makes it hard to predict exactly what could happen in the next few months.

Georgia governor race pits Trump v. Pence

There may be no politician former President Donald Trump wants to see ousted more than Georgia's Republican governor, Brian Kemp, who defied his demand to overturn the state's 2020 presidential election results. But Kemp appears poised to deal Trump a blow in Tuesday's primary to choose a Republican nominee for governor by defeating his hand-picked challenger, former Senator David Perdue.

'We have the Wagyu'? Arby's offers burgers

Arby’s announced the addition of the Wagyu Steakhouse Burger to its menu amid increasing competition in the fast-food industry. Known for its slogan “We Have The Meats,” Arby's introduced its first hamburger in almost 60 years. The blend of 52% American Wagyu and 48% ground beef costs $5.99 and is available through July 31 as Arby's tries to beat traditional burger joints like McDonald's at their own game.
