Biden to visit site of racist Buffalo massacre

When President Joe Biden visits the site of a racist massacre in upstate New York on Tuesday, he'll confront not only the shocking deaths of 10 Black people but a growing sense that extremism is pulling at the fabric of American society. Investigators continued to unravel the trail of clues left by an 18-year-old follower of racist ideology who killed 10 people at a Buffalo grocery store Sunday in a predominately Black neighborhood despite several missed red flags that could have prevented the tragedy.

Uber party bus? New services rolled out

Uber on Monday announced plans for expanded services as part of its “go anywhere” and “get anything" campaigns. The new features rolled out at its Go/Get virtual event will allow users to book an itinerary for rides right through the Uber app for traveling to a hotel, for flights, as well as booking restaurant reservations on trips. Users can also book vehicles for large parties and reserve electric vehicles.

Musk-Twitter's war of words turns stinky

Twitter's chief on Monday defended the messaging platform's battle against "bots" that aspiring buyer Elon Musk says vex the platform, only to have the billionaire respond with a poo emoji. The exchange played out in tweets as Musk's $44 billion buy of Twitter remained "temporarily on hold," pending questions over the social media company's estimates of the number of fake accounts, or "bots."
