Unruly passengers warned after mask lift

Airlines and travelers alike have cheered the end of the federal mask mandate on flights, but a second pandemic-era policy is here to stay. On Wednesday, the FAA announced that it would be making its zero-tolerance policy towards unruly behavior permanent. There is a link between the zero-tolerance policy, the mask mandate and unruly behavior on flights. False alarm forces US Capitol evacuation

The U.S. Capitol was briefly evacuated Wednesday after authorities sounded a threat alarm over a harmless parachute stunt, prompting top lawmaker Nancy Pelosi to blast aviation officials for an "inexcusable" failure. Police tasked with protecting the complex at the heart of U.S. government in Washington issued an initial statement shortly after 6:30 p.m. ET saying they had ordered an evacuation as they were "tracking an aircraft that poses a probable threat." It did not give further details.

'Grass'-roots candidate blazes up for 4/20

In a brash new campaign video, Indiana Democratic Senate candidate Thomas McDermott Jr. is seen smoking marijuana in an effort to push for legalization in the state and at the federal level. The video shows McDermott passing a joint and calling for law changes "so Hoosiers can get the health and economic benefits of cannabis." The video was released on April 20 (4/20), a day that celebrates cannabis.
