Macron will face Le Pen in runoff rematch

French President Emmanuel Macron and challenger Marine Le Pen qualified Sunday for a presidential election runoff, pitting the liberal leader against the far-right nationalist. With projections putting Macron in first place ahead of Le Pen after Sunday's first round voting, other major candidates conceded and urged voters to back the incumbent to block far right. French voters will choose between Macron and Le Pen on April 24. In 2017, Macron defeated Le Pen, 66% to 34%.

'SNL' targets SCOTUS hearing, Oscars slap

NBC's “Saturday Night Live” opened with a sketch about the Supreme Court confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson. The episode was hosted by actor Jake Gyllenhaal and featured musical guest Camila Cabello. Along with several cracks about the confirmation, “SNL” also touched on Will Smith slapping former cast member Chris Rock at the Oscars.
