The next COVID variant could be deadlier

While many countries and U.S. states are easing pandemic restrictions, some scientists are warning that the next COVID variant could be more deadly and cause more severe illnesses than what has been seen with the Delta and Alpha strains of the virus. Even Dr. Anthony Fauci has said the U.S. is moving toward the end of the “full-blown” phase of the pandemic, but others warn against relaxing the restrictions too soon

Accounting firm dumps Trump over records

Former President Donald Trump's longtime accountants ditched him as a client, saying a decade's worth of financial statements could not be relied upon, court documents showed Monday. Mazars informed the Trump Organization in a letter last Wednesday that it would no longer work for the company, which is being probed by New York prosecutors

Moon-bound rocket from China, not SpaceX

Astronomy experts say they originally misread the secrets of the night sky last month: it turns out that a rocket expected to crash into the Moon in early March was built by China, not SpaceX. A rocket will indeed strike the lunar surface on March 4, but contrary to earlier reports, it was built not by Elon Musk's company, but by Beijing.
