$1 trillion in climate spending isn't enough

The good news: the world spent nearly $1 trillion in 2021 to combat climate change. The bad news: it's not nearly enough. A new study found global spending on clean energy technologies set a new record by reaching $920 billion. However, experts believe that amount needs to triple by 2050 to fully address the dangers caused by climate change.

Apple sees record profits despite challenges

Apple reported a record $124 billion in quarterly revenue on Thursday, despite a global chip pinch and shifting impacts of the pandemic that have weighed down other big tech players. The expectations-beating results offered signals that the coronavirus-era tech boom may not be over yet.

Musk turning attention to robots, brain chips
