Ocean temperature hits another record high

The temperature of the world's oceans again hit record highs and if the trend continues, it could be extremely detrimental to coastal lands. NASA and NOAA recently announced that the ocean heat content (OHC), which describes the amount of heat stored in the upper levels of the ocean, broke the record again in 2021, surpassing the previous high set in 2020.
